Olympus DS-Series (DS-9500 / DS-9000) PIN/PUK Reset Service

If you have an Olympus DS-Series machine and no longer know the password/PIN code to unlock the device, the PIN code can be reset by obtaining a PUK code from Speak-IT Solutions.

Once you have your unique PUK code, please find instructions below on how to reset the PIN on your DS-Series machine:

Entry of PUK codes to a locked DS-Series device (DS-9500/9000 ONLY)

  1. Power on the target device.

  2. After password input screen is displayed, press hold [F2],[F3] and [+](Up) keys.

  3. Enter the PUK code you have obtained.

  4. The PIN code will now be reset to 0000.

Entry of PUK codes to a locked device (Other DS-Series devices, e.g. DS-7000 / DS-5500 / DS-3500)

  1. Power on the target device.

  2. After password input screen is displayed, press hold [F1],[F3] and [OK] keys.

  3. Enter the PUK code you have obtained.

  4. The PIN code will be reset to 0000
