[ODMS R7 R8](https://help.speakit.co.uk/om-system?hsLang=en-gb#odms-r7-r8) # ODMS R7/R8 - Configuring Background Speech Recognition Folder Settings This tool allows you to specify whether all or certain dictations in the folder needs to be transcribed using speech recognition. You must have Dragon installed and configured ODMS to use your Dragon profile by **[following the guide here](https://help.speakit.co.uk/om-system/odms-r7-r8/dragon-settings?hsLang=en-gb).** To configure this option: 1. Click on Tools and Options 2. Click on Folder Design tab 3. Select a folder 4. Under Actions select Background Speech Recognition and click the “…” button 5. Tick the box Auto Queuing 6. Click the drop down menu and select either “All files in the folder” or “Files after downloading, importing and direct recording”. Optional: If you want only certain dictations to be added to the recognition queue then follow the next steps. 1. Tick the box “Use a rule” 2. Click Add 3. Specify the Author and/or Worktype ID 4. Click OK 7. Once you have configured the Auto Queuing settings click OK.
