ODMS R7/R8 - Configuring Folder Encryption (Dictation Module)

The Dictation Module can be configured to automatically encrypt files that are downloaded into the folder. Follow the steps below to configure automatic encryption.

  1. Click Tools > Options > Folder Design

  2. Select a folder and click on Encryption dropdown and select Yes

  3. While you are in the current folder click on Password and click on “…” button

  4. Enter the password and select an encryption format and click OK.

  5. If you want to encrypt all the files in the current folder then click Yes.

  6. Click OK to apply the settings
