ODMS R7/R8 - How to Rename a File

To enable the In-Line Edit feature:

  1. Click on the In-Line Edit button in the top right of the Olympus software. When disabled, it will have a red circle with a line through it on the icon. When enabled, it will not.

    1. Alternatively, you can go to View > In-Line Edit

  2. Select the dictation you want to rename with a single left click

  3. Right click on the File Name and select Edit Item.

  4. Edit the title of the file

  5. Press enter to change the File Name.
