Philips SpeechExec - doesn't start due to an internal error caused by malware

Problem Description: Each time when starting Philips SpeechExec, following error message is shown:

Internal error. (The type initializer for 'Philips.PSP.SpeechExec.Common.SystemSettings.SettingItemDefaults' threw an exception.)

Cause of the Problem: Malware blocks SpeechExec to start. 

Solution:

  1. Test the computer for occurrence of malware with a proper software

  2. Remove the malware if it is installed on the system

  3. Restart the system

SpeechExec should then launch without internal error message.
