Philips SpeechExec - player not visible

Problem: When dictation is double clicked in SpeechExec Worklist, the SpeechExec Player is not visible.

Cause: The “ExecDictation.config” file in the user's SpeechExec profile folder wrongly contains position values that places the Player/Recorder window outside of the visible area.

Solution:

  1. Exit SpeechExec

  2. Rename the “ExecDictation.config” file (which usually is found in C:\Users\“Username”\AppData\Roaming\Philips Speech) to e.g. “ExecDictation.config.backup”

  3. Start SE again
