SpeechLive Guide - Configure a Philips Foot Control

Philips SpeechLive allows typists to manage and transcribe voice recordings from anywhere via web-based software. Files are sent and stored securely vie cloud-based servers.

The web transcription player can be intuitively controlled by a Philips ACC2000 series foot control (ACC2310/ACC2320/ACC2330). Users are able to change the default foot control configuration based on personal preference. To configure your foot pedal buttons to functions:

  1. In your dictation view, click the 'Connected devices' icon in the top right-hand side which should have a green dot on it (no green dot? Install the PDC!)

  2. Where you see the name of your foot pedal, click the cog icon
  3. You should now see a layout of your foot pedal with the existing assigned functions next to each button, which are also numbered
  4. Use the drop down next to each button to assign a new function
  5. Click Save/OK

Your foot pedal will now be updated to the configuration you've chosen. Select a dictation and try it out and you should be good to go!
