Are the OM System RS28N and RS31N foot pedals compatible with SpeechLive?

Unfortunately, the OM System RS28N and RS31N foot pedals are not compatible with Philips SpeechLive. Only the RS28H and RS31H models are supported by the Olympus manufacturer (Philips ACC model foot controls, and VEC Infinity 3 also compatible). These foot pedals are specifically optimized for use with Philips SpeechLive and can be used seamlessly with the transcription solution. They are the officially approved devices by Philips that ensure smooth and reliable operation. As part of Olympus' recent acquisition by OM SYSTEM, the foot pedals were renamed and are now designated RS28N and RS31N. Technically, these new models differ from the previous RS28H and RS31H, especially due to a different USB manufacturer ID. This change causes the N-models to not be recognized by Philips SpeechLive, as the software is designed for the specific ID of the H-models. Therefore, it is important that if you want to use a foot pedal with Philips SpeechLive, you make sure to use only the H-models RS28H or RS31H. Only these models guarantee full compatibility and trouble-free operation within the transcription solution.
